Cory Schneider was confirmed as the starter for the Devils' season finale Saturday against the Maple Leafs

Schneider was confirmed as the starter for the Devils' season finale Saturday against the Maple Leafs, Rich Chere of The Star-Ledger reports.

Analysis:

Schneider has been unable to shake of the rust from his 12-game absence due to a knee injury as he is 0-2-0 in his return. The netminder will look to end the season on a high note against a Toronto squad which, at this point in the year, is basically their AHL affiliate due to the number of call ups. Overall, the 30-year-old is looking to end a six contest skid in which he logged a 3.21 GAA. When considering his matchup, however, Schneider's fantasy value definitely gets a boost for Saturday.
