Rams select TE Temarrick Hemingway in 6th round

The Los Angeles Rams have selected tight end Temarrick Hemingway out of South Carolina State in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Hemingway is an excellent athlete who has the chance to develop into a difference-maker at the NFL level. But he has a long way to go, and the Rams likely see him as a multi-year project.

Strengths
- Impressive length and catch radius. Easily adjusts to balls thrown outside his frame.
- Above-average straight-line speed. Posted the second-best 40 time at the scouting combine.
- Determined runner who's able to get yards after the catch.
Weaknesses
- Raw. Will need time to develop at the NFL level.
- Could stand to add some bulk, as he's quite lean for the position.
- Limited play strength and route-running experience.
