The Detroit Lions have found a successor for Calvin Johnson.
The team will be signing former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Marvin Jones once free agency opens Wednesday, according to Dianna Marie Russini of ESPN.
The deal is for five years at $40 million, including $20 million in guarantees and another $17 million fully guaranteed, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Widely considered one of the top receivers available on the open market, Jones is coming off the best season of his career with 65 catches for 816 yards and four touchdowns.
In Detroit, Jones will join a receiving corps that includes Golden Tate, Corey Fuller, and Corey Washington.
