Treadwell slights Hargreaves at combine

Ole Miss' Laquon Treadwell and Florida's Vernon Hargreaves III are among the top two prospects at their respective positions, according to most NFL scouts.

But if you ask Treadwell, Hargreaves doesn't make the cut.

At Treadwell's press availability last Thursday, the confident wide receiver listed his top three college cornerbacks: Alabama's Cyrus Jones, Mississippi State's Taveze Calhoun, and Florida's Jalen Tabor - or, as Treadwell calls him, "the guy from Florida. ... Not Vernon Hargreaves."

While Treadwell went out of his way to take a jab at Hargreaves, the Florida product had nothing bad to say about his competitor.

"He can do everything," Hargreaves said Saturday. "He's big, fast, strong. Catches the ball in traffic. There's not a lot you can do to get the ball off of him."

Treadwell had his second-worst game of the 2015 season in his team's 38-10 loss to Florida with five catches for 42 yards, while Hargreaves happened to have an interception in the contest.
