Tony Romo: Plans to undergo surgery

Romo plans to undergo surgery on his left clavicle in two weeks Clarence Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Analysis:

The procedure is expected to leave Romo with a 6-8 week recovery time. With the early March surgery date, Romo should be ready to go by late April or early May, meaning he should be ready in time for OTAs and training camp. The only question for Romo has been what kind of treatment he would undergo for the clavicle injury this offseason and when, and that detail has finally been nailed down.
