Analysis:

Wake is coming off an Achilles tear and at 34 years of age his best days could be behind him. The Dolphins would save $8.4 million against the cap by cutting him. It is more likely, however, that the team will try to bring Wake back at a lower salary as even part-time pass rushers have value in the NFL.
