DeMarco Murray: 'I'm committed' to Eagles

DeMarco Murray has moved quickly to deny that he has any intentions of leaving the Philadelphia Eagles.

Murray's future with the Eagles was brought into question Thursday after it was reported that the two parties were headed for a "stare-down" after a disappointing 2015 campaign, but Murray joined Mike Florio on PFT Live to deny the reports.

"No. I'm signed there for the next four years. I don't know where that story is coming from," Murray told Florio Thursday. "It's a little crazy. Every week I feel like there's something new. It's a little weird. I can't worry about what people are saying. I'll just continue to work hard. I'm signed for four years and I’m committed."

Murray struggled to acclimate to the scheme of former head coach Chip Kelly, admitting "it was hard to get comfortable" in his offense, but emphasized that the issues between the two were "blown out of proportion."

With Kelly gone, however, it was expected that Murray would be given a true second chance to regain the form he showed with the Dallas Cowboys, but the money Murray is making is still reportedly an issue for Philadelphia.

However, his contract makes a trade or release difficult, so it appears the Eagles and Murray will be content to give their partnership another season.
