Travis Benjamin: Browns progressing on long-term deal
Benjamin and Cleveland have "made strides in terms of getting him back in a Browns uniform," his agent told Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer on Wednesday.
Analysis:
Benjamin's agent, Ronald Butler, said that Browns coach Hue Jackson "loves Travis" and is excited about Benjamin's explosive skillset. After catching 68 balls for 966 yards and five touchdowns in 2015, Benjamin will be one of the Browns' most talented players if they can reach a deal before the Mar. 9 roster deadline.
