Denver Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan is preparing for Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers, but he also has his impending free-agent status to consider.

The Broncos have a long list of free agents this offseason, which could mean Trevathan could end up being the odd man out.

However, the former sixth-round pick believes he'll have interest elsewhere, especially from the Chicago Bears because of the presence of his former coach, John Fox.

"I believe I can fit in any scheme," Trevathan said, according to Marc Sessler of NFL.com. "Coach Fox is one of the guys that gave me the opportunity to showcase I can fit within the scheme. I'm sure it'll be there, I'm sure we'll end up talking, but right now my main focus is this game. Whatever happens, happens. This game could make or break my contracts. It's up to me to make the most of it. I think I'm doing a good job right now and I'm locked in and focused."

Trevathan emphasized that his focus is on beating the Panthers after being part of the team that was humiliated by the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII.

"It's in the back of my mind, but right now this is the biggest game of my life," Trevathan said. "I can win or lose on this game. I know what it takes, I've been here before. It wasn't a pretty one, but I know what it takes and I know what I need to do to get to that next level in my life and on the field."

At 25 years old and with three years starting experience, Trevathan could be one of more in-demand free agents on the market, with teams desperate to acquire inside linebackers who are capable of playing both the run and the pass.
