Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera confirmed that linebacker Thomas Davis is receiving treatment three times a day in order to play in Super Bowl 50, according to ESPN's Ed Werder.

Davis guaranteed he'd be able to play Sunday despite breaking his arm during the NFC Championship Game. After overcoming three torn ACLs throughout his career, Davis won't be deterred by anything.

"I'll figure out a way to get off blocks, I guarantee you," Davis said to Werder.

Davis was named a first-team All-Pro for the first time after recording 105 tackles, 5.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and four interceptions.

The 32-year-old is a core component of the team's defense, and alongside Luke Kuechly, will be tasked with making it impossible for Peyton Manning to complete short-to-intermediate passes.
