Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones is adamant that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown wasn't injured by the illegal hit delivered by Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict late in Saturday's wild-card game.

Burfict was flagged for the play, setting up the Steelers' game-winning field goal. Brown appeared to be in severe pain, and left the game to be evaluated for a concussion.

"Man, Antonio Brown was not hurt. I know he was faking," Jones said on the "Dan Patrick Show" on Monday. "Go back and look at the play."

Jones said Brown winked at Bengals players as he left the field.

"He deserves a Grammy," Jones added, suggesting his understanding of award shows is lacking. (The Grammy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in music.)

Addressing his own penalty late in the fourth quarter, which was thrown after Jones made contact with an official, the veteran corner suggested he was egged on by Steelers assistant coach Joey Porter.

"There's just a lot of disrespectful things. Why is he on the field?" Jones pondered. "He's not even playing? Why should he be on the field?"

"Coaches are held to a higher standard than players," Jones added. "Period, point blank."
