Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert has officially cleared concussion protocol and is eligible to return to practice.
Eifert has missed two straight games after suffering a concussion in a Week 14 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Whether or not Eifert will play in Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens is still unknown, with the Bengals likely to be cautious as they head into the playoffs.
The Bengals are, however, still in the mix for a first-round bye, so Sunday's game isn't meaningless.
Eifert has enjoyed a breakout season, catching 48 passes for 564 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was leading the league in receiving touchdowns before getting injured and was named to his first Pro Bowl.
