Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas was missing from Thursday's practice, but the team confirmed his absence was not injury-related.

Head coach Gary Kubiak said Thomas was given a rest day after it was thought a shoulder injury had sidelined the wide receiver.

Thomas suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders, causing Troy Renck of The Denver Post to suggest that was the reason he missed the session, but the Broncos did not list Thomas with an ailment on Thursday's injury report.

The 27-year-old never left Sunday's game because of the injury, recording 10 receptions for 95 yards.
