Bengals activate Ogbuehi from NFI list, place Dennard on IR

The Cincinnati Bengals activated offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi from the non-football injury list Friday, clearing the first-round rookie to play after he sat out the first 10 games of the year.

Ogbuehi's final season at Texas A&M ended when he suffered a torn ACL, the rehab for which kept him on the sideline well into his debut season at the NFL level.

The 23-year-old likely wouldn't be expected to play down the stretch, but his presence provides the Bengals with some impressive depth behind an already strong group of linemen.

Cincinnati placed cornerback Darqueze Dennard on injured reserve in a corresponding roster move, officially bringing his season to an end as a result of a shoulder injury suffered last week.
