X-rays on Romo's clavicle inconclusive; further tests scheduled for Friday

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo says the injury he suffered during Thursday's 33-14 loss to the Carolina Panthers felt similar to the broken clavicle that kept him out of eight games earlier in the season.

"The X-rays were inconclusive. So we don't know that much at this point," head coach Jason Garrett said postgame. "We'll have further tests tomorrow and we'll see what those show. So taking it day by day, don'€™t know much right now."

Romo suffered the injury after being tackled by Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis during the third quarter.

The Cowboys' quarterback said he knew something happened to his left shoulder while being tackled by Davis, and will know the extent of the injury by Friday. Romo is expected to undergo a MRI on Friday, according to Brandon George of The Dallas Morning News.

Matt Cassel took over in Romo's absence, going 13-of-19 for 93 yards and a touchdown. Romo finished 11-of-21 for 106 yards and three interceptions.
