Green Bay Packers wide receiver Ty Montgomery will sit out a fifth consecutive game Thursday against the Chicago Bears, head coach Mike McCarthy announced Wednesday.

The rookie third-round draft pick, who was sidelined with an ankle injury in Week 6, had been a limited participant in practice for the better part of the last three weeks before being held out of this week's team sessions entirely.

Montgomery appeared to be on track to return after practicing in full early last week, but a setback again limited his reps for the next two days and eventually had him listed as doubtful heading into the weekend.

Either way, the Packers will be without a contributor on both offense and special teams for at least another game.

Cornerback Damarious Randall, safety Micah Hyde, and center Corey Linsley are all listed as questionable with various injuries.

Green Bay's next contest is set for Dec. 3 against the Detroit Lions.
