Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett called out Dallas Cowboys' Jason Garrett, calling the head coach "classless" for not checking on injured wide receiver Ricardo Lockette.

Lockette suffered a scary injury after taking a hit from Cowboys safety Jeff Heath on a return. He was put on a stretcher before being carted off the field.

Bennett argued that Garrett should have walked onto the field to check on the injured Seahawk.

"I know our coach would've did the same thing, so I thought that was a classless play by him," Bennett said of Garrett. "That's super scary because at the end of the day you guys talk about this or talk about that but at the end of the day it's just a game. I don't think people realize that. You guys take it a little bit too far. This guy has three kids."

Bennett was visibly upset on the field after the hit and had to be parted from several Cowboys' players.

The defensive end not only called out Garrett but also the officials for their performances on Sunday.

"I thought the referees sucked," Bennett said. "When something happens like that it's their job to protect the players but they haven't been doing a very good job of it this year.

"These guys are getting paid lots of money to officiate a game and they should do a better job."
