The Detroit Lions made a roster move Thursday aimed at addressing the team's need at defensive tackle following injuries to Haloti Ngata and Tyrunn Walker.

Defensive tackle Ishmaa'ily Kitchen joins the team, taking the place of defensive end Phillip Hunt, who was released.

Kitchen joins Andre Fluellen, who was signed Wednesday, as defensive tackles added by the Lions this week.

Ngata has a calf injury. His prognosis remains unclear. Walker is out for the season with a broken fibula.
