Lions' Levy full participant at practice Wednesday

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Detroit Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy was a full participant in practice Wednesday, with tight end Brandon Pettigrew also returning in a limited fashion.

Levy was able to practice fully for the first time since suffering a hip injury in August. He was limited in practice last week and was listed as doubtful for the Lions' game Monday against the Seattle Seahawks before he was ultimately ruled out.

His return so early in the week means it is possible that Levy could be healthy enough to play Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.

Pettigrew also returned from a significant absence, as a hamstring injury has kept him sidelined since Week 1.

The Lions do still have injury concerns, with defensive end Ziggy Ansah limited in practice with a shoulder injury.

Ansah wasn't at full strength against Seattle, as he fought through a groin injury. So with the defensive end limited by a different injury, his status continues to be a concern.
