Colts sign defensive tackle Jeris Pendleton

The Indianapolis Colts have signed defensive tackle Jeris Pendleton, according to multiple reports.

Pendleton, a seventh-round pick in 2012, last played with the Colts in 2013, missing all of 2014 while on the injured reserve with a knee injury.

Pendleton gives the Colts some depth along their defensive line, but he'll be hard-pressed to make the active roster come September. A strong showing in training camp, however, could land him in a rotational role at some point during the season.
