Titans' Harry Douglas thinks it's 'crazy' he's been labeled a slot receiver

Say what you want about Harry Douglas, but don't call him a slot receiver.

The Tennessee Titans receiver disputes the notion that he is limited to that role and told ESPN's Paul Kuharsky he has been stuck in the slot because of circumstances.

"That's crazy I got labeled a slot receiver when I came into the league," he said. "But you've got to understand, I played with Roddy (White) and Julio (Jones), and Roddy and Michael Jenkins, so I had to fill into the slot position."

Douglas added that he will be learning all the wideout spots in Tennessee's playbook and is comfortable lining up anywhere.

"I play all over, man. I think I'm a wide receiver. I'm not a slot receiver, I'm a receiver. I can play anywhere."

Kendall Wright played the majority of snaps for Tennessee in the slot last season, so Douglas gives the Titans another option to get creative with formations.
