Analysis:
Brian Cushing's injury history makes him an unreliable fit at one of the starting inside linebacker spots in Houston, and there's not much depth after that. McKinney is a huge linebacker (6-foot-4, 246 pounds) with the prototypical size for the 3-4, but his speed (4.66 40-yard dash) and explosiveness (40.5-inch vertical, 121-inch broad jump) are well above the average. If he can earn a three-down role, McKinney will be an IDP factor as a rookie.
