The Kansas City Chiefs selected linebacker D.J. Alexander out of Oregon State in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft, using the 172nd overall selection.
Alexander has dealt with neck, knee and elbow injuries in his time in Corvallis, playing 2014 with a neck protector and knee brace.
He is somewhat undersized for his position, which gives him trouble against teams that use power-run schemes, but he is capable of accelerating and chasing ball carriers from sideline to sideline.
Staying healthy will be key for Alexander's development at the next level.
