Every Friday, theScore's NFL editors will bring you a roundup of everything you need to know from around the division with the NFC West Notebook.

Seattle Seahawks

Seahawks cautious with Wilson's contract. The Seahawks and Russell Wilson have still yet to reach an agreement on a long-term deal, and general manager John Schneider indicated Wednesday that the club will be careful in its approach to negotiations.

Wilson a two-sport athlete? Though he's still yet to pursue a career in professional baseball, star quarterback Russell Wilson says he hasn't closed the door on the possibility of playing both sports.

Lockette signs tender. Wide receiver and special team standout Ricardo Lockette signed his exclusive rights free-agent tender this week, ensuring he'll return to the Seahawks for at least another season.

San Francisco 49ers

Kaepernick confident in running backs. Though the running back group will have work to do in replacing Frank Gore, Colin Kaepernick is confident that Carlos Hyde and Kendall Hunter will be able to step into their new roles.

49ers believe turf will hold up. After a debut season in which the condition of the Levi's Stadium turf was a significant issue throughout, the 49ers believe that a new treatment system will help to maintain the playing surface in 2015.

Haley to announce a pick. With several teams choosing former players to announce one of their selections at the upcoming draft, Hall of Fame linebacker Charles Haley will do the honors for the 49ers.

Arizona Cardinals

Cardinals interested in Peterson. Though he'll need to first settle his situation with the Vikings, the Cardinals are interested in star running back Adrian Peterson in the event he becomes available through trade.

Running back in the first round? Due to that glaring need in the offensive backfield, many first-round mock drafts around the football world have the Cardinals selecting one of this year's top running backs.

Washington to apply for reinstatement. After sitting out the entire 2014 season on an indefinite suspension, Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington is preparing to apply for reinstatement ahead of the 2015 campaign.

St. Louis Rams

Rams work out Mariota. The Rams appeared to have addressed the quarterback position with a trade made earlier this offseason, but that didn't stop the team from holding a private workout with first-round draft prospect Marcus Mariota.

Stadium committee to meet with NFL. With the city still hoping to keep the Rams from moving to Los Angeles, the task force for the downtown stadium project in St. Louis is set to meet with league officials next week.

Parker makes a visit. If the Rams aren't in position to select Mariota, targeting a wide receiver immediately becomes a likely scenario. One of the top prospects at the position this year, Louisville's DeVante Parker, met with the team Wednesday.
