The Washington Redskins appear to have turned their attention to the interior offensive front as they continue their rebuilding efforts in the trenches.

The Redskins hosted former Oakland Raiders center Stefen Wisniewski, one of the top players remaining on the open market, on a free-agent visit Friday, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.

Wisniewski's ongoing recovery from a shoulder injury has caused his market to take shape somewhat slower than expected to this point, but the official visit would suggest that the Redskins are indeed interested in bringing him aboard.

Still just 26 years old, and having started in all but three games over the course of his four-year career in Oakland, Wisniewski would likely step in and provide an upgrade as the starting center if signed.

Washington won't be without competition for his services, however, as Wisniewski also had official visits with at least five other clubs around the league in recent weeks.
