The Green Bay Packers have re-signed long-time fullback John Kuhn to a one-year, $870,000 deal, agent Kevin Gold announced Monday.

Kuhn has played eight of his nine NFL seasons with the Packers, appearing in all but five regular-season games over that span and earning trips to the Pro Bowl in 2011 and 2014.

Having led the way for running back Eddie Lacy and the NFL's 11th-ranked rushing attack, Kuhn was named a First-Team All-Pro for his play this past season.

Kuhn will remain a role player for the Packers' offense heading into the 2015 campaign, providing the unit with both a capable lead blocker and another ball-carrier in short-yardage situations.
