Bengals re-sign Cedric Peerman

After weighing his free-agent options, Cedric Peerman is returning to the Cincinnati Bengals for at least one more season.

A special teams standout and depth player at running back, Peerman re-signed Thursday. Official terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Peerman spent the past five seasons in Cincinnati, but becoming an unrestricted free agent early last month saw him make visits around the league, bringing some temporary uncertainty to his future.

But he now returns to the Bengals where he'll continue to hold a key role on special teams units.
