In search of more pass-catchers for Drew Brees, the New Orleans Saints are turning to a former castoff.

The Saints have agreed to a one-year deal with receiver Joe Morgan, according to Nick Underhill of The New Orleans Advocate. New Orleans traded away Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills this offseason, so the Saints are in need of more offensive weapons.

Morgan posted a photo of him signing his new contract on his Instagram account.

Thank you to the @saints for another opportunity to be apart of the WHO DAT NATION!!! #WHODAT #LIKEA13OSS

Morgan spent the past four seasons with the Saints before being released last December. He was also suspended for part of 2014 by the team for undisclosed reasons.

His best campaign was 2012, when Morgan made five starts and caught three touchdowns. He's somewhat of a deep threat, but will likely have to earn a job in training camp this August.
