Packers' Letroy Guion will not be prosecuted or have criminal record

Green Bay Packers free agent defensive tackle Letroy Guion will not be prosecuted or have a criminal record due to an incident in which he was caught with 357 grams of marijuana and an unloaded handgun.

Guion was arrested on Feb. 3 in Starke, Florida for erratic driving, and officers found the abundance of marijuana, the gun, and over $190,000 in cash that he claimed was earned while playing for the Packers.

"Hopefully he learned from his mistake and can continue his NFL career," Barry K. Warren, chief information officer for the Starke Police Department told ESPN's Rob Demovsky

The 27-year-old may garner interest from teams looking for a pass-rushing defensive tackle.

Guion recorded 32 tackles, a forced fumble and 3.5 sacks in his lone season with the Packers.
