Colts head coach Chuck Pagano made comments indicating that the team expects Gore to handle a heavy workload in 2015, CSN Bay Area reports. "He's a tough, hard-nosed, every-down back. He can play all three downs," Pagano said of Gore. "I don't think we would've gone after him and made the investment and made the decision to bring him in if we didn't feel that way."

Gore has an excellent reputation as a pass blocker, but he didn't catch many balls over his final few seasons in San Francisco, while Dan Herron did nice work for the Colts in that department during the team's playoff run.
