Reggie Wayne: Colts Won't Re-Sign

The Colts will not re-sign Wayne (triceps), who recently underwent surgery and is considering retirement, Kevin Bowen of Colts.com reports.

Analysis:

Wayne could perhaps look to catch on elsewhere, but he didn't seem to have much left in the tank by the end of the 2014 season, and he'll turn 37 during the 2015 campaign. He finishes his Indianapolis career as the second-leading receiver in franchise history, just a few hundred yards behind long-time running mate Marvin Harrison. With Wayne out of the picture, Donte Moncrief's path to a major role in the offense becomes even clearer.
