The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have not asked wide receiver Vincent Jackson to take a pay cut, according to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio

Jackson has a base salary of $9.77 million entering the 2015 season and has a salary cap hit of $12.2 million

The 32-year-old caught 70 passes for 1,002 yards and two touchdowns last season.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported that Jackson would not agree to a pay cut, in the event that the Buccaneers ask him to do so.

Jackson signed a five-year, $55.5-million contract in March 2012.

Tampa Bay holds the first overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, where they are widely rumored to be selecting Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston. If Winston or Oregon's Marcus Mariota joins the Buccaneers, it would be an instant upgrade at the position and Jackson would be an immediate beneficiary.
