Bengals release Robert Geathers, Greg Little

The Cincinnati Bengals trimmed their roster ahead of the NFL's new league year Friday, cutting defensive end Robert Geathers and wide receiver Greg Little.
The moves aren't particularly surprising. Geathers was largely ineffective as a rotational rusher last season. He'll turn 32 before next season kicks off.
Little was signed mid-season as a replacement for the injured Marvin Jones, but he quickly showed why he wasn't on an NFL roster when the season began.
