Don't see a difference from the Browns' previous logo? That can be forgiven. All that's changed is the color of the facemask and a slight altering of the shade of orange.

For comparison, here's the Browns' previous logo:

For those keeping track, the logo has now featured a white facemask (1992-2005), a gray facemask (2006-2014) and now a brown facemask.

Considering the hype ahead of the unveiling, it's hard to call the new logo a rousing success. Then again, many Browns fans are traditionalists and may ultimately be pleased to see the team reject a radical Nike-ification of its visual identity akin to what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers unveiled a year ago.

The Browns also unveiled a new secondary logo Monday, featuring the face of a bulldog that falls in line with the "Dawg Pound" motif the team uses in promotional materials:

Traditionalist Browns fans fear not: the new logo won't adorn the sides of the team's helmets (which are expected to be unveiled alongside new uniforms before the NFL draft in April). A condition of the team's sale to owner Jimmy Haslam in 2012 was that the helmets remain logo-less.
