Every Friday, theScore's NFL editors will bring you a roundup of everything you need to know from around the division with the AFC South Notebook.

Indianapolis Colts

Grigson alerts NFL about deflated footballs. There has been a new development in the 'Deflategate' saga, with Colts general manager Ryan Grigson admitting he alerted the NFL about deflated footballs prior to the AFC Championship game.

Pagano calls out team for legal problems. The Indianapolis Colts have had a nightmare start to the offseason, with players facing rape, assault and drug charges. Colts head coach Chuck Pagano spoke about his disappointment to ESPN's Mike Wells

Punters are people, too. Colts punter Pat McAfee said he's trying to get kickers and punters some exposure, while making a brief stint on NFL Network. McAfee and Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri are two of the best at their respective positions, as both made this year's Pro Bowl.

Houston Texans

Texans hope Mallett returns. Quarterback Ryan Mallett is slated to become a free agent on March 10, but general manager Rick Smith and head coach Bill O'Brien stated their desire for the 26-year-old to return to Houston.

Smith praises Jackson's development. Kareem Jackson has had a turbulent career with the Texans since he was selected in the first round of the 2010 draft. Smith wants Jackson to stay with the Texans and praised him for his maturation.

Clowney making strides in rehab. Jadeveon Clowney had knee surgery in December, ending a disappointing rookie campaign. However, the 2014 first overall pick is progressing well in rehab, according to Smith and O'Brien.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jaguars plan to build on shipyards. Shahid Khan announced during the team's state of the franchise that the Jaguars intend to build a two-story practice facility in the dilapidated Shipyards.

EverBank Field will have reduced capacity. The Jaguars also announced that they'll be reducing the capacity of EverBank Field from 67,164 to 64,107.

Jaguars considering options at No. 3. Jacksonville holds the third overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and, aside from quarterback, the Jaguars have plenty of positional needs to fill.

Tennessee Titans

The case for Mettenberger. Zach Mettenberger struggled in his rookie season, but was a low-risk, low-reward player after being selected in the sixth round of last year's draft. Here is a strong case for why the Titans should retain him, as opposed to selecting a quarterback with the second overall pick. However ...

... the Titans appear intent on choosing a QB. Titans general manager Ruston Webster said the Titans' main goal is finding a quarterback and will have a chance to select one of two former Heisman winners in Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota.

The Steelers connection. With Dick LeBeau officially joining the staff to control the team's defense, six of the Titans coaches have worked for the Steelers previously.
