Richard Sherman to unborn son: Do me a favor, wait until after Sunday for birth

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman hasn't yet met his unborn son, whose birth is expected any minute now, but he trusts the child to do him a big favor. 

"He's going to be a disciplined young man and stay in (the womb)," Sherman told reporters Thursday. "He's going to do his father his first favor."

Sherman wouldn't say if he plans to skip the Super Bowl to be there for his son's birth, should his girlfriend go into labor on Sunday. 

"We'll cross that bridge when we get there," Sherman said.
