Redskins hire Perry Fewell as defensive backs coach

Former New York Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell is set to join the Washington Redskins as defensive backs coach, the team announced.
Fewell reportedly had an offer on the table from the San Francisco 49ers as well to become their defensive backs coach.
In Washington, Fewell joins new defensive coordinator Joe Barry, who spent the past four seasons as the San Diego Chargers' linebackers coach.
