Report: Packers, Colts deny Rams permission to interview OC candidates

The St. Louis Rams were denied permission to interview potential offensive coordinator candidates from both the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts, reports Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The Packers blocked the Rams from interviewing quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt, while the Colts denied them permission to speak to special assistant to the head coach Rob Chudzinski.

Green Bay blocking the Rams' request is particularly interesting considering head coach Mike McCarthy admitted recently that he was confused about the lack of interest other teams were showing in his coaching staff.

The Rams would still like to interview Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase, who is meeting with the Chicago Bears on Wednesday.
