Report: Bucs deny Eagles' request to interview Jon Robinson for GM job

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have denied the Philadelphia Eagles' request to interview their director of player personnel Jon Robinson, according to multiple reports.

The Eagles have a vacancy at general manager following the promotion of Howie Roseman to executive vice president of football operations. However, with head coach Chip Kelly in charge of the player personnel department, it's a job that may not appeal to everyone.

That appears to be the case with Robinson, as Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Robinson would prefer to stay in Tampa Bay, where he has more control over personnel decisions.
