Report: Steelers expect to have Shazier, Polamalu back after bye

The Pittsburgh Steelers could be close to full strength on defense when they emerge from their Week 12 bye.

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Steelers are confident they'll have rookie linebacker Ryan Shazier and safety Troy Polamalu back for their Nov. 30 game against the New Orleans Saints.  

Shazier and Polamalu have both been sidelined since Week 9.

Safety Shamarko Thomas is also making good progress in his recovery from an Achilles injury and is expected to return after the bye, according to La Canfora.
