Dolphins' Dion Jordan returns to team following suspension
An already strong Miami Dolphins defensive front saw the return of a familiar face Tuesday.
After being suspended for the first six games of the season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, second-year defensive end Dion Jordan rejoined the team for the first time since Aug. 28.
"It's definitely a lesson learned," Jordan said, according to ESPN. "I'm human just like everybody else here. I made a mistake."
There is no denying Jordan's incredible athletic ability, but it remains to be seen whether or not he will be able to establish a role for himself in the pass-rush rotation.
If he can start to live up to the potential that made him the third-overall pick in 2013, however, the Dolphins' defense will certainly be all the better for it.
