Fred Jackson: (Groin) Out Until At Least Week 10

Jackson (groin) will not return any sooner than Week 10 against the Chiefs, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports.

Analysis:

Buffalo faces the Jets in Week 8, followed by a Week 9 bye. With C.J. Spiller (broken collarbone) facing an even longer absence than Jackson, the Bills will turn to Anthony Dixon and Bryce Brown, the latter of whom has not been active for a game this season. While his short-term value obviously takes a big hit, Jackson could see some extra touches later this season, if he makes it back to the field before Spiller.
