Rams hold on to hand Seahawks their 2nd straight loss

The St. Louis Rams defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-26 on Sunday, hanging on late after leading 21-3 in the early going.

Here's what you need to know:

  • After recording a record-low one sack through the first five games of the season, the Rams sacked Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson three times.
  • Rams running back Zac Stacy did not have a touch in the game.
  • Wilson completed 23-of-36 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns, adding 106 rushing yards and an additional touchdown on seven carries. He becomes the first player in NFL history to pass for over 300 yards and rush for over 100 in a game, according to Elias Sports
  • Rams rookie running back Tre Mason carried the ball 18 times for 85 yards and a touchdown.
  • Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey returned a punt 90 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter on a trick play.
  • Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman was carted off the field after injuring his foot in pregame warmups.
  • Rams cornerback Janoris Jenkins exited the game with an apparent leg injury and did not return.
