McCown tore a ligament in his thumb in a loss to Atlanta nearly four weeks ago, and Mike Glennon has since taken over the reins at quarterback. The veteran McCown did not undergo surgery and is without a firm timetable heading into this weekend's bye. "It's getting there. We'll see. As we've said all along, we're taking it day by day, week by week," McCown said. "It feels like we're making progress. (Football activities?) Not quite yet. We're hoping that's coming soon.
