Every Monday and Friday, theScore's NFL editors will bring you a roundup of everything you need to know from around the division with the NFC East Notebook.

Philadelphia Eagles

Eagles blank Giants. Sunday was a night of firsts for the Eagles. In addition to sporting all-black uniforms for the first time in franchise history, they also moved into a tie with the Cowboys for first place in the NFC East with a 27-0 victory over the Giants.

Foles most concerned about team record. Nick Foles isn't producing the same kind of numbers he did last season, but as long as the Eagles are getting wins, he's happy.

McCoy breaks out. LeSean McCoy rushed for a season-high 149 yards in Sunday's win, passing Steve Van Buren for third place on the Eagles' all-time rushing list.

Dallas Cowboys

Cowboys shock Seahawks. The Cowboys earned an impressive 30-23 road victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, improving to 5-1 on the season.

Garrett praised by Jones. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Sunday's win was head coach Jason Garrett's "finest hour."

Is Dallas the best team in the NFC? Chris Chase of USA TODAY Sports wrote "the biggest takeaway from Sunday isn't that the Cowboys are favorites to win the NFC but that Seattle is no longer the outright favorite."

New York Giants

Giants' offensive line crumbles. Mark Cannizzaro of the New York Post called Sunday's loss to the Eagles "perhaps the worst performance a Giants line has delivered since the days when that banner plane was flown over Giants Stadium in protest of too much bad football back in the ’70s."

Cruz leaves field in tears. Sunday's game came to an emotional end for Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, as he was carted off the field with a potentially season-ending knee injury.

Eli Manning not impressed by Eagles' trash talk. The Giants quarterback says he prefers to do his talking on the field

Washington Redskins

DeSean Jackson comes up big in loss. Jackson had another strong performance Sunday, catching three passes for 115 yards and a touchdown in Washington's 30-20 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Is Alfred Morris hampering the Redskins? Bleacher Report's James Dudko breaks down how Morris's poor numbers are impacting the Redskins offense.

Snyder sits with Navajo Nation president. Redskins owner Dan Snyder was spotted sitting next to Navajo Nation president Ben Shelly and his wife during Sunday's game.
