Report: Chiefs' Berry ruled out Sunday vs. Dolphins
A sprained ankle suffered in the Kansas City Chiefs' Week 2 loss to the Denver Broncos will force safety Eric Berry to miss the team's Week 3 game at Miami, The Kansas City Star reports.
It's a big loss for a reeling 0-2 Chiefs team already functioning without linebacker Derrick Johnson, the quarterback of the defense. Berry is as important to the unit as Johnson in the eyes of many.
Ron Parker replaced Berry opposite free safety Husain Abdullah in Week 2. He figures to get the nod again this week.
