Lions' Joique Bell limited at Wednesday's practice

Jeremy Brevard / USA TODAY Sports

Detroit Lions running back Joique Bell was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice with a knee injury, the Lions' official site reports.

Analysis:

Bell was absent from OTAs and the mandatory minicamp due to a knee issue, but it's unclear if the current concern is at all related. When healthy, he's a part of a two-headed monster out of the Lions' backfield with Reggie Bush, totaling 25 carries for 87 yards, seven receptions for 66 yards, and one rushing touchdown through two games. Expect clarity on Bell's availability as the week rolls along.
