Head coach Bill O'Brien said the coaching staff is paying attention to Foster's workload and may "spread the carries around a bit more" as the season moves forward, CSN Houston reports. "Certainly when you look at one player getting a ton of carries, that's something that you have to pay attention to as a staff," O'Brien said.

Analysis:

Foster has carried the load out of the Texans' backfield in the first two games -- he has 55 of the 74 rushing attempts by Houston running backs. While O'Brien plans to moderate the workload as the team moves forward, he maintains they are doing what's necessary to win football games right now. It doesn't sound like Foster owners need to worry about Alfred Blue or Jonathan Grimes stealing carries in the short term unless an injury crops up.
