With the new policy expected to be greenlit on Friday afternoon, it likely won't be long before the Browns learn of Gordon's revised punishment.
The 2013 Pro Bowler, who racked up an impressive 1,646 yards and nine touchdown receptions last season, was suspended for the entire 2014-15 campaign for repeated drug violations related to marijuana.
