Report: Bengals' Iloka fined $15,000
Cincinnati Bengals safety Geroge Iloka was fined $15,000 by the league for his hit to Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley according to a report from Pro Football Talk.
Iloka was fined for hitting Finley in the head when Finley was a defenseless player. While no penalty was called on the play, Finley did suffer a concussion.
It's a similar play to the one Eagles linebacker DeMeco Ryans was fined for with his hit on Chargers wide receiver Malcolm Floyd. However in that case Ryans was fined $21,000.
For the season Iloka has 10 tackles in three games with Cincinnati.
Based on his reaction on Twitter, I don't think Iloka agreed with the fine.
